McGuire Flexbond Low Rise Foam Adhesive

McGuire FlexBondTM is a two-component, expanding foam adhesive/sealant designed for the installation of all types of foam roofing insulation and fleece backed roofing membranes. Apply to wood, concrete, gypsum and metal decks.

  • Container Sizes: 1500ml two component cartridge (4 per case including 6 mixing nozzles)
  • 5-gallon bag in a box (10 gallon kit)
  • Surfaces must be clean and dry. Apply at any temperature. High temperatures and humidity will shorten working time. Designed for use at temperatures of 20°F and higher. Very cold temperatures will result in less rise and slower cure.
  • Cut the tip of the static mixer to the desired side. Remove the red plug from the cartridge and install the static mixer in its place. Apply in ribbons 1⁄4” to 1⁄2” wide a maximum of 12 inches on center (oc). Coverage at 12” oc is approximately 150 sq. ft. per cartridge. One case will adhere approximately 600 ft² of insulation or membrane.
  • Install the insulation board while the adhesive is still tacky. Insulation boards should be 48” x 48” or smaller for best results. Weight if necessary in windy conditions. Avoid traffic for 24 hours.
  • Clean up: Clean up with McGuire Seam Cleaner
  • Shelf life: One year from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool dry place. High temperatures and high humidity during storage will shorten the product’s shelf life.

Seller warrants that this product shall be free of any defect in material or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase. This warranty does not extend to any defect or failure caused by misuse and/or incorrect application.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: In the event of a defect or failure falling under this warranty, Buyer’s sole remedy shall be refund of the purchase price or replacement of the defective material, at Seller’s option. Under no circumstances shall Seller be liable for any losses or damages caused by this product, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory.
